AKRON, Ohio — Two student athletes from Archbishop Hoban High School were recognized as Week 5 Scholar Athletes of the Week for the northeast region.

Lauren Tonsing is a two-year varsity captain for the Hoban girls’ soccer team; her team ranked No. 4 in the state for Division II.

In the classroom, Tonsing carries a 4.7 grade-point average.

She is a member of student council, a member of National Honor Society, a peer mentor, active with Hoban campus ministry and a member of the Hoban leadership team.

Bradley Bisesi is a multi-sport athlete. He is the varsity captain on the Hoban boys’ soccer team and also plays on the Hoban boys’ tennis team.

In the classroom, Bisesi maintains a 4.43 GPA.

He is a member of student council, a student ambassador, peer mentor and an extraordinary member of holy communication. Bisesi has also done community service through the Hoban campus ministry program and volunteered at a walk-in kitchen in downtown Akron.
