CLEVELAND — Ice skating and appearances by Santa Claus will be part of the expanded Winter RiverFest at RiverGate Park near downtown Cleveland. The annual holiday celebration hosted by the Cleveland MetroParks will run from Nov. 26-Jan. 2.

Additionally, the Winter RiverFest will feature festive decor, a beer garden and firepits, retail shop and an igloo dining experience, Cleveland MetroParks said. 

Visitors can reserve slots at the new ice skating rink online. Skating reservations are $12 (ages 6 and up) and $5 for ages 3 to 5. Ice skate rentals are $3, Cleveland MetroParks said. 

Igloos can be reserved in two-hour slots for $50 plus a food and beverage minimum from Merwin’s Wharf.

Zimmerman. “With ice skating, festive dining and more, Winter RiverFest provides an opportunity for families to create new holiday traditions along our scenic waterfront.”
