“We are so excited to go into this really fun week,” said Goehrke, director of guest experience at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. “The induction is fun every year, but when it's in Cleveland, there's something a little extra special, and the whole city comes out.”

Goehrke is excited to see hundreds of people celebrating the genre of music he loves best.

“I get to live the dream job every single day, working at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I can't believe that they pay me to just essentially celebrate the history of what I think is the most important art form in the history of anything,” said Goehrke.

All week long, fans can enjoy the new 2021 inductee exhibit and more. Some events include Rock Hall Nights on Thursday, Oct. 28 and The Go-Go’s live interview and book signing Friday, Oct. 29. Fans may purchase tickets to attend.

“The museum's always the star. But if you come Thursday night, there's many activities all around the building, all tied in to the new inductee class and celebrating that class. And then like I said, Friday, the Go-Go's are going to be here themselves doing an interview,” said Goehrke. “The interview itself is sold out, but it's streaming live on all of our social media channels. So you can check that out. That's at noon on Friday. And then around 3 [p.m.] on Friday, we're going to be doing another live stream dedicating our new inductees signature panel, which has all the signatures on it.”

The events all lead up to the 36th annual induction ceremony Oct. 30 at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.

The ceremony will air at a later date on HBO and stream on HBO Max, alongside a radio simulcast on SiriusXM's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Radio channel 310 and Volume channel 106.

“I love this class,” said Goehrke. “This class is such a diverse class that to me really represents the true spirit of rock and roll. So you'll see artifacts from The Go-Go's, the Foo Fighters, Jay Z, LL Cool J. Todd Rundgren — the list goes on and on.”

Jerin Beasley

The event is Jerin Beasley’s first time in Cleveland and he’s excited to debut his painting of 2021 inductee Jay-Z.

“It doesn’t get no bigger than this, you know, Jay Z's seeing it, not only buying it you know, putting it in a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to represent him, it means a lot to me I'm definitely grateful,” said Beasley, the artist of the Jay-Z “Tree of Life” Painting.

It’s a week to celebrate a lifetime achievement for the artists and their fans.

In order to visit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame or attend the induction ceremony at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, all ticket holders must provide proof of vaccination 14 days after a final vaccination shot, or a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours, along with an ID matching their name on their documentation.
