NATIONWIDE— The United States Postal Service released new pricing, shipping rates and shipping dates ahead of its busiest time of year: The winter holiday season. 

USPS officials said in a press release that its busiest time of year begins two weeks before Christmas, with increasing customers starting Dec. 6. USPS recommends the following dates for your mail to make it to its destination on time, sporting the phrase, "Don't delay, mail and ship today." 

USPS also offers free shipping supplies and schedules pickups if you cannot make it to the post office.
