OHIO — Not much is changing within some key districts as incumbents were once again reelected by voters.
Here's a wrap up of six key districts:
For over two decades, Rep. Steve Chabot (R) has represented the greater Cincinnati area, and he'll continue to do so after beating challenger Kate Schroder (D), a former health care executive. Chabot received more than 179,000 votes compared to Schroder's 157,000 votes.
Rep. Jim Jordan's (R) 1pRe3 years in office will continue after a landslide win with more than 67% of the votes against challenger Shannon Freshour (D), a former paralegal who once interned on Capitol Hill.
Rep. Mike Turner (R) has represented the Miami Valley since 2003, and he'll be tacking on another year. He won with more than 57% of the vote over challenger Desiree Tims (D).
Congressman Troy Balderson (R) will once again represent the 12th district. Balderson received more than 55% of the total votes, beating Democratic challenger Alaina Shearer, a business owner and first-time candidate.
Rep. Tim Ryan (D) has officially locked down his 10th term in Northeast Ohio. He received more than 52% of the total votes, beating Republican challenger Christina Hagan, a former state representative.
Rep. Dave Joyce (R) will once again serve the 14th district after garnering more than 60% of the voters against Hillary O’Connor Mueri (D).
