Tisa Watts said she decided to follow her dream two years ago. She moved back home to Ohio from California to open the Columbus Garden School.

"I love being outside. I love not working at a desk. I like watching things grow. I like being able to harvest the things that I grow and to eat the things that I grow," Watts said.

She also loves to teach and holds classes at her home which operates as the school.

"The nights are getting colder and the days are getting shorter and now is the perfect time to get out in the garden and finish picking all of your summer vegetables like tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and green beans. They will not survive the frost. Most of them need to be picked and brought in to the house now," she said.
