COLUMBUS, Ohio — Spectrum News 1 brings you our Voices for Change series, where activists, leaders, and community members share what has brought them to action and how addressing racial discrimination will create a better world for everyone.

Dr. Jacqueline Meshelemiah is an associate vice provost for diversity and inclusion at The Ohio State University. A social worker, an academic, and a mentor to students, she and her department work every day to support students in developing leadership skills.

She says "the Office of Diversity and Inclusion does an excellent job of supporting our student leaders and advocates and activists, and helping them to find their voice and to come together and unify around important issues that matter to them."
