CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland's annual Fourth of July fireworks show has been rescheduled for September.
Light Up the Lake is a free fireworks spectacular where fireworks are launched from the Port of Cleveland’s Dock 20 over Lake Erie. Communities from miles away are able to witness the show.
“After weeks of researching ways to go forward with the fireworks as planned, we decided that the most prudent and safe way to celebrate was to reschedule Light Up the Lake for a later date,” Joe Marinucci, president and CEO of Downtown Cleveland Alliance said in a news release. “We look forward to celebrating together in the fall with the many families who traditionally visit Downtown Cleveland for this annual event.”
The new date has been scheduled for September 19.
