CLEVELAND, Ohio —The 185,000 square feet of trails at Ray's Indoor Mountain Bike Park has people pedaling back for more. 

• An indoor mountain bike park is bringing people all over the U.S. and beyond to Cleveland
• It has grown and transformed into one of the biggest indoor tracks in the country 
• People of all ages can ride the track

“This place is very large for an indoor park and it’s got everything — from jumps, to skinnies, to pump tracks, and it’s a good place to learn and all kids should be starting here,” said Janet Straker, of Ontario, Canada.

Ray’s was started back in 2004 by Ray Petros and it was originally meant for just adults.

But now all ages are allowed, although younger children must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the park.

The indoor park has grown and transformed into one of the biggest indoor tracks in the country. 

“Everything kind of links together, so if you are on one trail, you kinda hop over to another trail without doing the whole trail, so that number is still almost infinite, if you are doing the trail one by one-by-one-by-one, and there’s a lot,” said Keith Miller, Ray’s general manager.

The one great thing about being at Ray’s is there are people of all ages riding bikes on these tracks.

“It’s not just for kids it’s for older kids too, I guess, so I love this place, I’ve been coming here for years, keeps me young, keeps me in shape,” said Eric Csizma, a customer from Cleveland. 

“I’m 13 and I’ve been riding since 5, and I’m really into mountain biking and competing in racing,” said customer Addie Soutze, from Massillon.

“My age is 28, I love coming here ‘cause it’s good camaraderie, I’m kinda new to it, it’s fun, there’s a lot of different courses from beginner to expert and it’s just a good place to hang, good clean fun,” said Jeremy Oakes, a customer from Cleveland.

Eric Hansen and his two sons drove more than 400 miles from Racine, Wisconsin to ride these indoor trails.

“There used to be a Ray's in Wisconsin… they closed. It’s the only way to ride Ray’s anymore, is to come here to Cleveland,” said Hansen.

Hansen says he and his boys are always searching for better parks but Ray’s is hard to beat. 

“This is unique,” said Hansen, “Racine has a pretty good park, probably one of the best outdoor parks that we’ve seen, and we look around a lot, but this is blows everything away size-wise.
