STRONGSVILLE, Ohio– Vicki Kotris is living proof that your passion can also be your career.
"You can have whatever it is you want once you define your all," said Vicki Kotris, co-owner of Cleveland Cookie Dough Company.
Kotris sells software by day and homemade edible cookie dough by night.
About two years ago, Kotris started a podcast called, 'A Confetti Filled Life' telling untold stories. What she found was empowering women making their dreams a reality.
"They were doing some really amazing things, in their backyards, for their communities, for their families, and those were stories that needed to be told, but also helped inspired me to do something else, to do something greater than myself."
Kotris started her own food truck under the name Cleveland Cookie Dough Company. Now, she's opening her very first brick and mortar pop-up sore at the South Park Mall in Strongsville. The pop-up store will be open until January 1.
"We have a core recipe that is incredible, it's so delicious," said Kortris. "Now I think I opened up Pandora's box, that I feel more creative than I ever have in my life, I feel like anything is possible, that whatever it is that I can dream and put energy towards that I can do."
With more than 15 flavors on the menu, you can get a delicious scoop and a sprinkle of inspiration from the woman who now says she has it all.
"You have to just decide what it is today that you have to do to get through tomorrow, to get through the next day, you don't have to have it all figured it out, but you do have to make a choice and the choice has to be what makes you happy."
