It was a little quieter and cooler to start things off Monday, with highs in the 60s for most areas. As high pressure works it's way in overnight, temperatures will drop quite a bit. Expect chilly lows, with Tuesday morning starting out in the 40s-- even some 30s in a few spots. Tuesday will be a dry and cool day before temperatures go into recovery mode on Wednesday.

We will start to see an active pattern setting up Wednesday through Friday with increasing heat and humidity.  Each day we will see the chance for scattered showers and storms with highs near 90° Thursday and Friday south with 80s north. While severe weather for the mid-week isn't going to be widespread, we very well may see a few stronger storms in a few areas popping up.

The weekend is looking warm with a chance of an isolated storm here and there, so don't cancel any plans. Warm and somewhat humid conditions continue into next week.
