Gov. Mike DeWine held a news conference with the children’s hospital officials Tuesday, where he said he agrees that school districts should require masks while COVID-19 numbers are at the current high levels.

School districts in Warren County are expected to test out new COVID-19 protocols in a pilot program with the Ohio Department of Health that would reduce student quarantines.

3. Ohio Redistricting Commission hosts last hearing on legislative maps

The OCRC, an independent and nonpartisan redistricting group, bashed both the Republican and Democratic maps that have been presented saying they do not go far enough in creating fair districts.

Paul Brown was born on Sept. 7, 1908, in Norwalk. He began coaching at Ohio State University in 1941, helping the Buckeyes to their first national championship. He later coached the entirety of the Cleveland Browns’ first 17 seasons before being fired in 1962 and founding the Cincinnati Bengals which he began coaching in 1968.
