ORANGE COUNTY, N.C. -- A Carrboro restaurant is putting an extra positive spin on the wine bar experience.
Glasshalfull has been serving up old-style wine over the last 12 years, it continues to set itself apart with the exquisite cuisine. The contemporary restaurant celebrates the wide-variety of Mediterranean-inspired plates that add an extra special twist to the wine blends their paired with.
Glasshalfull’s menu changes regularly depending on what is in season, and the flavorful dishes are prepared with a selection of wine pairings in mind.
The restaurant is also dedicated to serving the community at large by donating 10% of sales every Tuesday to UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The owners are also proud to be an Orange County Living Wage member with a strong belief that Glasshalfull’s success begins with the people who work hard daily to make it a great experience.

PAN SEARED SCALLOPS: creamy polenta, sautéed red and yellow bell pepper, fennel, sunflower shoots, shallot, garlic, lemon tarragon butter, and toasted pine-nuts
NICOISE SALAD: pan seared N.C. tuna, mixed green beans, cherry tomatoes, nicoise olives, confit fingerling potatoes, boquerones (sweet white anchovies), hard boiled egg, and a toasted shallot dressing
N.C. BLUEBERRY GAZPACHO: garnished with olive oil and fennel fronds
DARK CHOCOLATE SEA SALT BUDINO: black tea creme Anglaise, chocolate syrup, and toasted hazelnuts
