Columbus City School Boardmember Eric Brown is proud of the teachers and students in his district for their ability to overcome adversity. He is working with the Board to promote equity for all students through school funding.

Brown wishes more people knew that the Board is made up of "laypeople" from the community, rather than education policy professionals. Nevertheless, he finds it most rewarding when the policies he enacts noticeably aid students' development.

Brown would describe the school district as "diverse, hardworking, and complex." The elected official he would most like to have lunch with is his wife, a former boardmember of Franklin County's Board of Commissioners.
