84th District Representative Susan Manchester decided to run for office after working for her representative, Congressman Jim Jordan in Washington D.C.

In her Know Your Electeds interview, Manchester identifies one of her greatest achievements as establishing training standards for caregivers in the foster care system, which has ultimately increased the number of foster parents in the system.

Manchester would take an out-of-town visitor to downtown Greenville to enjoy the vast array of shops and restaurants. If she had an extra hour of free time, she would spend it catching up with friends.
