Ohio State Senator Steve Wilson (R-07) counts an elder fraud and abuse prevention bill he passed as one of his biggest accomplishments. Aside from that bill, Wilson, a former Navy veteran himself, prides himself on his work for his fellow veterans.

Wilson never intended to run for office, but after some introspection he realized, "there was not anything that I could do that was more of a give-back career [than public service]."

When asked about his favorite movie, Wilson admits: "I like chick flicks. Sleepless in Seattle, that's my favorite movie. I love the Hallmark Channel."
