Ohio Democratic Party Chairperson Liz Walters joined Mike Kallmeyer to preview what the Democratic Party’s expectations are for the November general election.

“The Supreme Court decision on Roe v. Wade has really been a game changer and a ground-shift for both parties,” she said.

Walters noted Ohio has seen more new registrants than almost any other state in the country.

Regarding the role President Joe Biden might play in Ohio’s election, Walters said he is showing great leadership and focusing on what working Ohioans care about.

She also addressed what the Democratic Party thinks about Tim Ryan’s alleged “political pivot,” and gave final thoughts on some of the notable races that will appear on November’s ballot beyond the gubernatorial and U.S. Senate races.
