Rep. Troy Balderson spoke with Mike Kallmeyer to discuss the announcement of a microchip factory outside New Albany, in Licking County, and its impacts on the technology supply chain.

Balderson predicted the factories will be a big solution to supply issues and will help to change the game for technology innovation. He compared the CHIPS Act with the COMPETES Act and said the COMPETES Act does little to help solve the problems associated with the current shortage of microchips.
