Mike Kallmeyer visited with Dr. Stephanie Valente, Director of the Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.

"The most important thing is body awareness, self-awareness. So for women and men to know what their body feels like and that includes their breasts,” said Valente. “So, monthly breast exams, and a lot of women say they don't know what normal is, but if you know what your normal is, then you'll definitely know what abnormal feels like. [...] We recommend annual mammograms starting at age 40."
