COLUMBUS, Ohio — Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) visits with Mike to discuss his views from the day of the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, as well as impeachment proceedings.

"From my office, I overlook the west front of the Capitol, so I actually saw the actual breach of everyone going through the barricades,” Latta said. “Capitol Police officers trying to stop were just overrun and when I mean overrun they were overrun. For the whole afternoon you could just see that the police just had to fall back and, unfortunately, that's when you could see this mob break into the Senate side. I could also see around the east front of the Capitol and on that side. At the end of the day, you could see the mass of tear gas grenades going off. It's not something we should ever have in this country....It's a day we don't ever want to repeat in this country.”
