Cheering on the Bearcats is what University of Cincinnati alumna Sadie Brass loves to do. But nothing beats the homecoming parade.

She and all her friends got together to enjoy the big event.

“First like real big game that I’ve been to since the pandemic so it’s just awesome to be here with everyone and have the atmosphere of Cincinnati,” said Brass. “It’s honestly, amazing!"

Getting to pet the dogs was her favorite part of this year’s parade.

“I love his bandana and I love that they have the dogs in the (parade),” she said.

This homecoming weekend, Brass made sure to sport her three UC track championship rings. She and her teammates excelled in the 2016, 2017 and 2018 AAC Indoor Championships.

As a former track star, she loves representing her team and her alma mater.

“I don’t wear them very often, but I’m very happy to wear them today,” she said. “I’m so proud to be a track alum, a Bearcat alum.”

Brass was one of the hundreds who came out to the parade to enjoy the festivities with friends and family on Saturday.

After graduating two years ago, she said she's excited to be back on campus with her friends.

“I got together with a lot of friends last night, today during the game and we have the track alumni banquet tomorrow,” she said. “So there’s so many activities going on and it’s just so fun to see everybody and have everybody so hyped because the Bearcats are awesome this year.”
