LOS ANGELES — Frieze, in partnership with The Center for Art and Advocacy, awards the Frieze Impact Prize to an artist who has made a profound social impact.
Brooklyn-based artist Victor Quiñonez created a series of resin sculptures and paintings called “I.C.E. Scream” that examines the dual nature of the immigrant/Indigenous experience in the US.
The Frieze Impact Prize includes a $25,000 cash prize and a solo exhibition space at the Frieze LA Art Fair.
