Cassidy Wilson is a multimedia journalist at Spectrum News 1 Ohio. Her journey into journalism began early — as an 8-year-old, she created her own newscasts using her father's video camera, which ignited her passion for storytelling. She has a deep enthusiasm for sharing stories, particularly those that shine a light on individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Cassidy is originally from Columbus and graduated from The Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University in 2021. After college, she worked at WHIZ in Zanesville as a dedicated reporter and anchor. Prior to that, Cassidy interned at FOX Sports, where she shadowed the Big Noon Kickoff team, and contributed to the Blue Jackets Artillery Group podcast.

Cassidy loves autumn and all things related to pumpkins and football. Growing up in Columbus, she was always an ardent Buckeye fan, and is eager to embrace Cleveland's sports teams with the same fervor.
