We need the break from rain! Most of us will be able to take advantage this upcoming weekend.

What You Need To Know

  • Parts in northeast Ohio on Saturday have a chance of rain, not a washout

  • Most of the state looks dry all weekend though

  • Cooler start to the weekend, Sunday is milder in the 60s

A system from the east could bring a minor chance of showers in far eastern Ohio for Friday. But most models keep the rain chances outside of the state during the day Friday.

Clouds linger along with another drop in temperatures.

Our highs drop back into the 40s and 50s after a brief bump on Thursday.

As this area of low pressure continues east of Ohio for on Saturday, a few showers may develop off the lake in northeast Ohio, giving the area a 20% to 30% chance of rain.

Clearly clouds still dominate most of the day Saturday with limited sunshine. Temperatures also are a bit cooler than normal through the afternoon as highs only push the 40s and 50s again.

But Sunday is the winner this weekend!

Go make your plans to enjoy the forecast Sunday as we wrap up the weekend with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s!

We'll continue to warm into the 70s by Monday with some more rain chances.
