Lt. Tom Fallon is the commander of the Hamilton County Heroin Task Force. He sat down with In Focus host, Mike Kallmeyer, to talk about what he is seeing on the job as it relates to the dangers of fentanyl.
“It’s just an evolving problem, that, we always seem to be a step behind,” Fallon said.
In most cases, Fallon said the danger of fentanyl is that people do not know they are taking it. The drug is impacting people in every type of community including rural, urban, and suburban families.
Fallon said right now one of the biggest things they are doing is educating the youth.
“You just can’t try street drugs right now, you can’t do it. It could kill you, it could be a life sentence,” he said.
