After snow chances in southern Ohio Tuesday, another system quickly returns, bringing statewide precipitation chances Wednesday afternoon into early Thursday morning.
Much of this precipitation, especially southeast will be in the form of a cold rain, but Northwest Ohio is looking at snow accumulations largely between 2-5 inches.
Another issue that could impact the evening commute Wednesday will be sleet and freezing rain that begins around mid-afternoon and continues through the early evening before largely changing over to a cold rain.
In that early evening window in particular, be aware of the possibility of some icy spots, especially on untreated and elevated surfaces. Areas along and north of I-70 are of the greatest concern.
We'll see brief rain/snow chances Thursday morning, but that will quickly exit leaving much of Thursday's forecast dry.
