AVON, Ohio — University Hospitals announced it opened a relocated urgent care facility in Avon. 

The new location is 36320 Detroit Rd. near the entrance of the Avon Medical Pavilion.

This location is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with special hours on some holidays. The new facility offers on-site x-ray, lab, EKG, medication dispensing and more. 

"This location has prime visibility from the road with ample parking to ensure convenient access to high-quality health care services, now with on-site x-ray, for Avon and surrounding area residents," UH said in a release.

University Hospitals (UH) opened a relocated urgent care facility in Avon. In its new location, UH Urgent Care Avon continues to serve patients in the community and reduces their travel time when seeking medical attention. This location is part of the larger plan to deliver health care closer to where patients live, shop and work.
