CLEVELAND — Severe storms swept through northeast Ohio Tuesday afternoon, leaving hundreds of thousands without power as of Wednesday morning. 

With a power outage may come a lot of stress, especially when it comes to food and trying to figure out what you can eat. 

Officials warn it's never a good idea to try and taste food that's been in the fridge or freezer after a power outage, especially after a few hours.
