OHIO — Ohioans across the state are sweltering in the ongoing heat wave. High temperatures are expected throughout the rest of the week and into the weekend, pushing people to search for relief at pools, splash pads and lakes.
The heat has driven enough people out that some pools were at max capacity, including Parma's Nike Park Pool. Due to the ongoing life guard shortage, theyalso cap the amount of people at a lower number. While the pool is not restricted to residents of Parma, it does require a pass or paid entry. It had also reached capacity on Wednesday.
Take a look at how residents are cooling off or at least trying to enjoy the extreme heat.
