DAYTON, Ohio — The Dayton Air Show takes place this weekend from Saturday, June 22 to Sunday, June 23, and the Blue Angels are headlining the event.

This year marks the event's 50th anniversary, and organizers say there will be a lot for visitors to experience, stating the show "will be one of the biggest and most special air shows in Dayton history."

Tickets are still available, and this year, parking is easy as it's included in the ticket admission, organizers said. Tickets can be bought here.

Along with the air show, there will also be helicopter rides, a kids hangar for children to play and the the Vandalia-Butler Chamber of Commerce Dayton Air Show Parade. 

Outside of the Blue Angels, performers include the USAF F-16 Viper Demonstration Team, Heritage Flight — F-16 and P-51D, U.S. Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demo, and many more.
