EASTLAKE, Ohio — Three adults and two children, ages 3 and 6, were transported to local hospitals after a pool chemical reaction in Eastlake Thursday, according to the fire chief of Eastlake Fire Department, Ted Whittington.

The children were transported to UH Rainbow in Cleveland and the adults were taken to Lake Health in Willoughby.

There were 11 people at the home when the reaction occurred. The other six are being monitored.

The neighborhood is not evacuated but officials said they are monitoring the air quality.
