CLEVELAND — Thousands gathered in downtown Cleveland Saturday to kick off Pride Month with a march and festival.

The Pride in the CLE event was hosted by the LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland and started with a parade downtown that opened to a festival on the lawns outside city hall.

“We're really excited to celebrate pride with everybody," Attendee Marjorie Zeager said. "I've been going to Pride for a few years, but some people in our church have never been to pride, and so we were excited to bring that to everybody.”

The festival featured various musical performances, food trucks and activities.
