CLEVELAND — Community members all over northeast Ohio are coming together to remember Euclid police officer Jacob Derbin, who was killed last Saturday in the line of duty.

In his hometown of Cuyahoga Heights there will be a vigil Thursday night to honor the 23-year-old.

In Brooklyn Heights, yard signs are available at Village Hall to pay respects to Derbin. And in Brunswick, Bullseye Activewear is making t-shirts with all proceeds going to Derbin’s family. 

“We immediately started creating a design, worked with the lady that was connected with us and she was in contact with his mom, came up with some ideas that were very personal to them and that’s what we created. More importantly than just doing that, we gave them an option to create an online store. Which could sell shirts and make money for the family. Within the first day, we’ve sold about 650 shirts,” said Jim Heiser, owner of Bullseye Activewear.
