OHIO — To help people ease their holiday travel woes, two chains have announced discounted gas for a limited time. 

Sheetz said its unleaded 88 gas is dropping to $1.99 per gallon for all of its locations in in Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.

GetGo is dropping all fuel grades by $1 for customers with myPerks Pay Direct, AdvantagePay or the myPerks Pay Rewards Visa Credit Card on Black Friday. 

The discounts will be in effect until Monday, the chains said. 

The American Automobile Association states the average price for gas in Ohio right now is $3.123 per gallon for regular. This week, the average cost for gas in the U.S. is $3.31 per gallon.
