DAYTON — The National Weather Service confirmed two tornadoes touched down during Sunday night's storms in Ohio. 

One tornado touched down near Tipp City in Miami County, Ohio. The other happened near Christiansburg in Champaign County. Both were rated EF-0.

The first tornado happened just after 7:20 p.m. two miles south of Tipp City. It was on the ground for six-tenths of a mile and was 150 yards wide at its largest. The tornado had estimated 70 mph winds, damaging trees and taking off part of the roof of a garage.

The second tornado was also brief, running north along the east side of Christiansburg for eight-tenths of a mile. It had a maximum width of 125 yards and caused tree damage with estimated winds of 75 mph.
