CINCINNATI — The Joe Burrow Foundation partnered with Where I'm From Apparel, an Ohio-based company for a city-inspired competition.

Through the partnership, From the Bayou to Greater Cincinnati: Let's Do Good, fans purchased apparel inspired by Burrow's football career in Cincinnati and Baton Rouge.

At the end of the competition, The Joe Burrow Foundation announced Cincinnati as the city with the bragging rights following the end of the competition. Throughout the fundraiser, more than $65,900 was raised.

Cincinnati had the most apparel purchsed with more than 2,800 pieces sold. 

All proceeds will benefit families in both Ohio and Louisiana who struggle with childhood mental health problems and food insecurity.

More than 4,600 pieces of apparel were sold throughout the fundraiser with 1,655 Baton-Rouge-inspired pieces and 146 generic/non-city affiliated options being sold.

“Cincinnati and Baton Rouge both have a special place in our family’s hearts,” said Burrow. “While it’s fun to compete, and Cincinnati has earned bragging rights, the true winners are the children and families served through our foundation. Thanks to everyone who joined us in doing good through this friendly and fun challenge.”

Burrow played college football at Louisiana State University, where he won the 2019 Heisman Trophy and led the team to the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship. He is the quarterback for Cincinnati and led the team to Super Bowl 56.

“Everyone has a responsibility to do good. This is a fun and easy way to join our foundation in doing some good in two communities that have meant a lot to me and my family,” said Burrow in a news release about the campaign.
