CINCINNATI — Kings Island is getting ready to conjure up some screams this fall. The amusement park announced the events for this year's Halloween Haunt, which is full of scare zones, mazes and more.

There will be six "bone-chilling" mazes, four scare zones, live shows and night rides. Kings Island revealed it will debut four new attractions:

  • Hotel St. Michelle, a haunted maze, is based on the story of an abandoned hotel named after the manager's missing daughter that's still very alive in spirit.
  • Alien X, a scare zone, features personnel working inside Area 72 who show their true form once darkness falls. "Walk through the displays of alien creatures who have been contained. Well, most of them," the park wrote in a press release.
  • NyteWalkers, a show, showcases what happens when the acrobatic and action sports world meets zombies.
  • Terror Rising, another show, combines the rhythmic step moves of five dancers with thrash, EDM and heavy metal.

Halloween Haunt starts Sept. 23, and runs on Friday and Saturday nights, plus select Sunday nights, through Oct. 29.

Guests will be asked to adhere to a new policy which states that no bags of any kind larger than 6.5” x 4.5” x 2” may be brought into the park after 6 p.m. on Halloween Haunt nights, park officials said. All bags will be subject to search.

Tickets are available now.
