CLEVELAND — Ramp closures will begin next week on a project that will widen sections of Interstate 480 in the Garfield Heights area, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced Thursday.

The project will add a fourth lane to the I-480 westbound to State Route 14 ramp.

Starting March 23, the ramp from S.R. 14 to I-480 will be closed through October 2022. ODOT recommends using Interstate 480 eastbound to Warrensville Road to Interstate westbound to S.R. 14 as a detour.

ODOT also said that there will be nightly and weekend lane restrictions beginning on Wednesday, March 23, through early April.
