COLUMBUS, Ohio โ Ohio soccer was well represented as players from both Columbus Crew and FC Cincinnati, and a team manager, were named to the Major League Soccer Team of the Week for Week 3.

For the third time in as many weeks, Columbus Crew midfielder Lucas Zelarayan was named to the team of the week.
In the Crewโs match versus Toronto Football Club, Zelarayan scored in his third-consecutive match with a right-footed shot from outside the penalty box in the 56th minute to tie the match, 1-1.

It was his fourth goal of the season.
Zelarayan is the only MLS player be named to the MLS Team of the Week top 11 in all three weeks of the 2022 season.
Forward Brandon Vazquez became the first Cincinnati player to be placed on the team of the week as FC Cincinnati broke their 14-game losing streak stretching back to the 2021 campaign.
Vazquezโs brace, scoring both goals in a 2-1 win at Orlando City SC, came in the 13th and 53rd minutes of the match, giving FCC the lead both times.

Etienne scored the game-winning goal for the Crew in the 65th minute, putting Columbus ahead of Toronto, 2-1.
He also provided the assist on the Zelarayanโs goal.
