CLEVELAND — Long-time WTAM radio personality Mike Trivisonno, 74, has died, the station confirmed on air Thursday afternoon. A cause of death has not been released.

Trivisonno, also known by his nickname “Mr. Know-It-All,” began his radio broadcasting career in 1986. His show covered a range of topics including politics, pop culture, sports and local entertainment.

In recent times, he has filled the coveted afternoon drive slot at WTAM on weekdays from 3-7 p.m.

“Triv proudly raised over $5 million dollars for local charities during his career, including Coats for Kids, whom he hosted his annual ‘Vegas Show Benefit’ in support of,” WTAM said on its website. “Although ‘The Voice of Cleveland’ has been silenced, his impact on Cleveland will be felt and heard for years to come.”

In addition to his WTAM hosting duties, he was the owner of Trivs restaurant in Strongsville.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine reacted to the news via Twitter Thursday evening.

"Fran and I are very saddened to hear of the death of Mike Trivisonno. Triv was one of a kind - a man who would ask tough questions but who also had a big heart," DeWine said. "Fran and I were privileged to participate in Triv’s Coats for Kids gala and admired Triv’s charitable work. We offer our sincerest condolences to Triv’s wife, children, and his extended radio family."
