Spectrum Washington reporter Taylor Popielarz sat down with Representative Troy Balderson (R-12) for a lengthy interview on Thursday. 

The two discussed the spending bill that prevented another government shutdown, Balderson's bill to permanently end shutdowns, his committee assignments (which include transportation and infrastructure, small business, and science, space, and technology), what it's like to work in a dysfunctional Congress, what his constituents are asking him to work on, and what the federal government can do to stop mass shootings.
