OHIO — We're tracking a system that still looks to bring rain starting Wednesday evening, then changeover into some wintry precipitation as temperatures fall into early Thursday morning.

What You Need To Know

  • Thanksgiving travel may be impacted

  • Rain and snow likely to impact Ohio as early as Wednesday

  • Some snow accumulation is possible

Travel looks fine for Tuesday, although temperatures will be chilly behind Monday night's cold front with highs only in the 40s.

Wednesday starts chilly, but dry, however afternoon/evening rain chances go up, with a possible changeover into winter precipitation north of I-70 as temperatures fall further.

That moisture still looks to stick around for Thanksgiving Day, with snow, sleet, even some freezing rain possible.

Arctic air follows Friday, with highs near freezing and brutal wind chills into the weekend. Lake effect snow is also looking likely for the Northeast Ohio Snowbelt into the weekend.
