OSU women's basketball player Jacy Sheldon drafted No. 5 overall by Dallas Wings in 2024 WNBA Draft

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Dallas Wings have drafted Jacy Sheldon, former Ohio State women's basketball player, No. 5 overall in the 2024 WNBA draft.

An Ohio native, Sheldon was a member of the Buckeyes for five seasons. Sheldon claimed two Big Ten titles, one in the 2021-2022 season (tied with Iowa) and a solo title in the 2023-2024 season. She also helped guide OSU to an Elite Eight appearance in 2022-2023, the team's first in 30 years.

Sheldon led the Buckeyes in points this past season, averaging 17.8 points per game.
