The inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump will kick off Saturday and run through Tuesday, the Trump Vance Inaugural Committee announced Monday.
The official 60th Presidential Inauguration festivities will begin with fireworks at Trump’s Washington, D.C., golf course and will run through more than a dozen events including a rally, a parade and three inaugural balls in addition to the official swearing-in ceremony at the U.S. Capitol on Monday, Jan. 20.
“President Trump is dedicated to uniting the country through the strength, security and opportunity of his America First agenda,” Trump Vance Inaugural Committee co-chairs Steve Witkoff and Kelly Loeffler said in a statement. “The 2025 inaugural celebrations will reflect President-elect Trump’s historic return to the White House and the American people’s decisive vote to Make America Great Again.”
The president-elect has raised a record $170 million for his inauguration/ At least 250,000 people are expected to attend, according to the U.S. Secret Service.
