MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. — A $1 million Powerball ticket was sold at a Publix in Mt. Pleasant, beating the one in 11,688,054 odds.
The unclaimed ticket was purchased from the Public Supermarket #449 at 1000 Johnnie Dodds Blvd. All five white ball numbers were matched, securing the million-dollar prize.
According to the South Carolina Education Lottery, more than 13,000 players in South Carolina hold a winning ticket. These prizes range from $4 to $1 million.
Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
The estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is $315 million.
