CLEVELAND — With the NFL regular season concluded and the Super Wild Card Weekend approaching, picks 1-18 of the 2022 NFL Draft have been assigned, including for the Cleveland Browns.

What You Need To Know

  • The NFL released the order for the 2022 NFL Draft as it currently stands

  • The Jacksonville Jaguars clinched the No. 1 pick

  • The Cleveland Browns have the No. 13 pick

  • The Cincinnati Bengals pick will be made official pending their finish in the playoffs

The NFL announced Monday the Jacksonville Jaguars had secured the No. 1 overall pick for the draft despite upsetting the Indianapolis Colts to move to 3-14 and help keep the Colts out of the playoffs.

The Jaguars also edged out the Detroit Lions who have the No. 2 pick after the Lions upset the Green Bay Packers in Week 18 to move to 3-13-1.

The Cleveland Browns finished as one of three teams to finish the season with an 8-9 record. Due to strength of schedule, the Browns secured the No. 13 pick, behind the Minnesota Vikings and ahead of the Baltimore Ravens.

The pick is the Browns' highest since having the No. 10 pick in the 2020 draft, which was used to draft Alabama offensive tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. Cleveland had the No. 26 pick in the 2021 draft after winning a playoff game in the 2021 season.

The Cincinnati Bengals sit in the No. 21 spot heading into their playoff game versus the Las Vegas Raiders with a 10-7 record. The pick is subject to change pending the outcomes of the playoffs.

The pick would be the lowest pick since the Bengals selected Ohio State center Billy Price with the 21st pick in the 2018 draft.

The Bengals then had the No. 11 pick in 2019 (offensive guard Jonah Williams), No. 1 pick in 2020 (quarterback Joe Burrow) and No. 5 pick in 2021 (wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase).

Teams in the playoffs will receive their pick number in correlation with what round they finish their season in and then in reverse order of their standing compared to other teams who lose in the same round.

The Bengals play the Raiders on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
