Seventeen-year-old Davon Miller has come a long way since we first met him six years ago.
"It's kind of insane to think that I would have these books that I can share with boys and girls and their families across that I've encountered so far," he said.
Back then he wrote his first story starring the fictional character, Mr. Tickety Tock Clock, and was hoping to get it published.
Well, he got it done ... and then some.
Despite being a busy high schooler, he has written four books so far and plans on writing more even after he goes off to college.
"I think my plan was to establish this character first but I have many many ideas for more characters to come," he said.
You can find his books at Pinellas County Schools, Bay Area bookstores, and the Great Explorations Children's Museum.
His accolades even earned him high praise from Sen. Rick Scott and former president Barack Obama.
But Miller's not done dreaming.
"One of my biggest aspirations is to see this character in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade like as a big balloon. That's my biggest dream is to see this take off there," he said.
Miller is having a book signing at Barnes and Noble near the Tyrone Square Mall.
It will take place on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
