Excessive Heat Watch Issued For Ohio
Excessive Heat Watch issued For Ohio Heat Index may top 105 degrees

**Excessive Heat Watches cover almost entire state Friday noon through Saturday night**

HEAT INDEX VALUES RANGE FROM 100°-110°

A few showers possible wrapping up this evening as Barry continues to exit by tonight all showers and storms taper off. The heat dome expands from the central plains into the midweek late week. Starting tomorrow as skies become partly to mostly sunny temperatures soar into the low 90s. Barry showers exit but the humidity stays put and when added with the rising thermometer our heatwave arrives.

Small chances of storms late week and into Saturday. Nothing organized and most stay dry during the day. A weak distance moves into NE Ohio overnight Thursday into early Friday morning with showers and storms possible.

The big weather story is the heat, and it's dangerous heat expected for Friday and Saturday. Much of the state under an Excessive Heat Watch as 'feels like' temperatures could be up to 105-110. Please take the necessary precaution to beat the heat.

Better chances of showers and storms Sunday.

A big 'cool' down arrives early to mid next week which will bring relief for the Buckeye state!
