WORCESTER, Mass. — The Worcester Railers open up their season this Saturday, taking on Reading.

The Railers have brought in a host of new players in the offseason as well as a new Associate Head Coach/GM in Nick Tuzzolino, to go with Head Coach Bob Deraney.

The players and coaches really like this squad and they are all excited for Saturday night to show the home fans what they've got.

"Yeah obviously it's super exciting to be back, see all the guys again," said captain Anthony Repaci. "I think Bob and Tuzz have done a great job this offseason bringing in new guys that are hungry, that want to be here. So it's always an exciting time of the year, can't wait for opening night Saturday."

"It's really exciting, I think we have a really good group,” said forward Matthew Kopperud. "I'm new here but everyone's been super welcoming and it's been a lot of fun."

The Railers host Reading Saturday at 6:05 p.m. and Sunday at 3:05 at the DCU Center.
