WORCESTER, Mass. - Clinton running back Connor Cox broke a 7-7 third quarter tie with a 51-yard touchdown dash to help the Gaels to a 29-13 win over visiting West Boylston. Clinton's size up front and ground game proved to be too much for the Lions who stayed within striking distance thanks in part to quarterback Connor Rice connecting with back Dominic Renzoni for two scores.
Northbridge bounced back in week five with a convincing 40-6 win over North Middlesex at Lasell Field. Joel LaChapelle found Ben Direnzo for two scores including the first touchdown of the game. Mo Rodney Daigle hauled in a 45-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter to help the Rams earn their fourth win of the season.
Shrewsbury built a 14-0 halftime lead over Doherty, but needed a last minute score to hold off the Highlanders and earn their first win of 2024. Andrew Vincequere threw touchdown passes including the game-winner to Ryan Keddy.
Tantasqua quarterback Adam Howe continued his strong season accounting for three touchdowns in a 26-0 win over South in Fiskdale. Howe rushed for two scores and found Logan Arrastia for a touchdown as well.
